I LOVE Days Off!

My day off is almost over. In these last few weeks before I go on maternity leave I have enough "sick" days to work 4-day weeks which is awesome. I was thinking when I woke up this morning of how much I really need to appreciate this alone time. It won't be long before "alone" will be a thing of the past. And I practically did nothing eventful today at all. I got up around 9am, dressed in my most comfy track clothes, talked my trainee at work through several problems she had today (I believe we spoke about a lucky #7 times!), emailed Christa back and forth complaining about how unmotivated I've been to do much-needed housework, did a bit of scrapbooking, watched several episodes of "The Baby Story" on TLC (one was SO sad - the mom actually DIED afterwards from breast cancer she was battling throughout her pregnancy), did one load of laundry, and am now cooking dinner of roast chicken and sweet potatoes while waiting for my hubby to get home.

What I should have/could have done:
Finished gutting out and organizing the closets in our master bedroom. I started this last night but didn't quite finish.
Much more scrapbooking - so behind on pages.
More laundry.
Sanded the plaster in the main bathroom.
Baked some cookies.
Made the bed.
Brushed the cat.

I did think of all these things today. I could have done them, probably could have done more but then I thought - "nah!!" I'm chillin' out, max n' relaxin'...life is good!

I got an email from Amanda yesterday telling me that Terri (Martin) and David Hann had their baby girl - a WHOPPING 10LBS 8OZ's! Can you believe that?! Wow! Flabbergasted, as I told Amanda, I sent a prayer to heaven above asking that I please not have a baby quite that large. Congrats to Terri and David on the new addition!

Exciting pregnancy news - Christa graciously accepted the challenge of photographing my prego belly and the not-so-photogenic rest of my body last Sunday. We really had a lot of fun, took almost 5 rolls of film (mostly B&W), got in some nice poses, some silly poses, some experimental (a.k.a trying not to expose my ginormous boobs of which Christa had the pleasure of informing me when I had some nipple hanging out...poor girl!) poses - I just can't wait to see the results. Will be sharing some of those with you when I get the film back.

Just have to ask - does anyone else watch "Prison Break"?? Cause I seriously thought Michael and Sarah were FINALLY going to "get it on" and then much to my disappointment, it once again didn't happen....I can't stand the suspense!

And with that serious note of non-reality, I believe I will take off - gotta go pick up our car from the garage (poor thing wasn't feeling so good). Bye for now :)

I watch prison break too and I was disappointed with the Michael/Sarah thing too (she is one lucky actress to be able to kiss such a fine, hot, hunky, hot......well you get the idea. lol).

I can't wait to see your pics.
